A tour of medium difficulty -brook-passings: adequate footwear!!
With our Vespas we`ll get to to small paths between rice-terraces. By foot we follow them to a remarkable place:
a bamboo forest to be specific. We can enjoy its charming ambience for some minutes until we get to a first barrier:
a brook which we have to wade.
Of course we could carry you - which we would like to do for all our guests all the time.
With good trekking-sandals however, you can manage this tour and be on your own feet all the time.
We pass a house settled amidst the forest. Its residents have to lock all their food all the time to beware it from monkey-raids.
At a second barrier, a steep slippery hillside, we have to be very concentrated.
Down at the valley floor we have to pass another brook. From the opposite slope we can enjoy scenic views into a lonely valley.
Passing Rice-terraces and small farms we climb into a high-valley and experience sensational views at the northern coast of Bali.
However, the view to the south is able to inspire. We leave the vast landscape behind us and turn our attention to the height of this trekking tour:
We step down into another valley. There we find a hidden paradise: Above a waterfall nature has built an exceptional clean, bewitching and beautiful natural pool (8m deep) in the river. Here you can swim, relax or enjoy yourself to your heart´s content.
We climb back up and turn to the south. Here we might become a bit exhausted, for a moderate slope has to be overcome.
A little tip: Visit the railing of the single narrow and short bridge that we cross: You will be surprised!
Then we still have a short path through the middle of rice fields, where we also find this cottage. Soon after, we'll meet our Vespa pilots that bring us back home.
